Emergency Prepardness Expo

 The wards held the expo at the Stake Center. Jason was asked to fill in at a booth, so we dropped him off after the Fair. We were lucky enough to get there just before the helicopter took off.

We spent a little time inside the building playing with a balloon and a ride-on/push car thing (tanner's favorite). But we didn't stay long because it was lunch time and nap time, and the kids kept finding things to push into the Ham radio tables with all the computers and the transistor radio. (the kids would not eat the provided hot dogs, there was too much going on.)

But when we left, we toured the fire truck and they even let the kids shoot the fire hose.

This was Carter's first turn. Another kid went and then he got to go back and shoot the hose again, this time pulling and pushing the lever on his own. His highlight of the afternoon.
