Something, probably coyotes, ate all of Papa's chickens. But Papa has been putting lots of time and effort into his garden. The carrots were ready to go, and Papa was trying to get rid of them so he could plant something else in their place. What better way to do that then let the grandkids pick them and eat them.
Carter particularly liked the fact that the leaves were still attached. He ate like 5 or 6.
Tanner and Elijah would escape outside and made their way to the cow and horse water. They loved splashing their hands in it.
And it wouldn't be complete if he didn't add some dirt to it.
Jason took them back to look at the tractor. Tanner wanted to drive.
But Carter wanted to dig and dump.
Carter wanted to spend all of his time outside. He would disappear and, without a doubt, you would find him outside. We had to give him the rule that he had to tell us he was going outside before he went, not even ask if he could. Just tell us. Tanner would make it out when his slightly older cousins would see him at the door and help him get outside. Those doors were always open.
