Texas 2

After all the festivities were over, we headed up to Weatherford, stopping off at Tyler and Jess's for a few hours. There we had lots of fun with Grandma and Papa and cousins. One afternoon was an open gym for preschoolers and we LOVE that kind of thing.

From where he jumped, that was the best hold he could get, not a fan.

He loved the run. When he would go his fastest, he would bounce a bit. He loves to bounce.

Much better way to swing, but he would not let go this time.

Itzel jumped with Andrew, and he was all smiles...until she stopped. Then he would flap his arms until she started jumping again.

Tanner would not go down the slide. Even on my lap he was protesting the whole way down. I went very slow and stopped at the end of the slide and then counted down to the jump off the end. It must have not gone too badly because he did it by himself later.

You can never just play with one hula hoop.

And Miss Ila would stick out her tongue while playing with the hula hoop.

Andrew positioned himself right there, hoping someone would take him jumping some more.

Oh, but that run...

Foam block war with Papa, must defend the castle. Go Tanner!!

And movie night. With popcorn. What do you have Andrew? You look guilty...

Oh,

Uhhh...I've been caught!

And on to fishing and the splash pad. We kept the boys fishing for a while before they decided to split to the water.

Called Carter back...We caught one! Reel 'er in!

So proud of his perch. He was even okay with throwing it back.

We caught another one, this one is Tanner's.

Woah.

In the blink of an eye, Tanner had the hook out of that guy's mouth. (with no help)

Can I throw it back now? Sure...well, here he goes.

What, a third fish?

A bigger catfish this time.

Matthew wanted nothing to do with him.

Don't make me touch him, not even to throw him back!

Grandma feeding Andrew snacks. It was tough to get him to look at the camera with all the water and screaming kids just off to the side.

I missed swimming in the pool because Matthew was sick. And there was not too much playing outside at the house, it was too hot.

Fun times, but we had to get home...Carter was starting school...!
