This was Carter's Birthday, on his actual birthday. I had made some cupcakes for scouts, but took a few to celebrate at lunch with Jason on campus. There were also some cookies someone left and he loved, and made a mess with, those.
Once a month is Music Jam at the library. They fill the storytime room with all kinds of instruments and let the kids play while Miss Rebecca plays through her list of songs. Jason snuck one time to see Carter playing while lying on the floor. He would only play the ukulele while lying on the floor.
What do you do at Home Depot? We ride lawn mowers.
On the hiking trail near our house there is a water crossing that is made up of big boulders. We let the kids play in the water there. It is very slippery with the algae growing on the rocks and the kids slip a few times. This one in particular, Tanner went down face first and ended up covered. Not hurt, just dirty and stinky.
Water gun fight in the backyard. Impromptu, which is why they are both still fully dressed.
