Bad Assumption

So I made the mistake of assuming that only girls went through the "Wear Mommy's Shoes" phase. Carter showed me wrong. This week he has been pulling out my shoes, totally normal as he tosses them into the dirty clothes baskets. But now he started wearing them. His favorites are my big boots that he wears with his tennis shoes (this makes him think that he has to wear all of my shoes over his tennis shoes). He can even walk in them, which impressed me. He loves it even more when Dad tries to take them off by picking him up and swinging him. They slide down, but never fully come off that way. It makes him look super tall, though.
