It is two weeks before Christmas and we, Jason more so, are concerned about Carter not having the experience in opening presents. If he does not get the concept, then he will not open them and therefore Christmas will not be as much fun. So, we have been giving him practice...

He is scooting, so he does manage to cover the distance between where we put him down and the presents. He checks to make sure he is allowed to open them.

But then he digs into it. There are some presents that are easier to open than others. But he still tries to open all of them.

He has managed to open three presents already: a stool for mom, pants for dad, and a cute outfit for Carter. We may get some things open by him on Christmas morning at this rate.

As a side note, Sunday was our ward's Christmas program. We all dressed up for Christmas, including Carter. The only problem...we don't have a tie that fits him right now. So he wore dad's.
What a cutie! Keep practicing, Carter!!
